
SCHEDULE
The WIL Global Learning Network meets online on Thursdays June – November.
Delivery format varies, 1-3 hr formal & informal classes and group work sessions
Pre-work (1-2 hrs)
- Participants create Persona Profiles
- Introducing participants and their work with Water Energy Food Nexus and/or Coastal Community Resiliency
Sessions
- Sessions involve expert resource guests
- Skill building materials
- Breakout sessions for small groups discussions
- Interactive engagement opportunities (both online and offline as regional groups form)
Canadian Time Zones
- 8am-11am Pacific
- 9am-12noon Mountain
- 11am-2pm Eastern
International Time Zones
- Europe 5pm-8pm
- Western India 8:30pm-11:30pm
- Brasil 12noon-3pm
- Lebanon & Eastern Africa 6pm-9pm
- Western Africa 4pm-7pm
*Most session will be recorded, active participation leads to your successful training; please practice our “respectful flexibility” policy attendance by joining live sessions whenever possible
Criteria for Receiving a WIL Global Training Certification:
To receive a certificate, you must:
- attend a minimum of 14 out of the 16 online workshops
- complete required readings and preparation pre-online workshops
- commit to teamwork and pass peer assessment from your team
