H20 Global Leader Training will run from

4pm on Tuesday September 11, 2018
until 11am on Friday September 14, 2018

Note: all accepted H20 Global Leaders accepted must also attend WIL Canada. You will be given a lot of opportunity to practice what you have been trained on during WIL Canada.

Break from lunch until 4pm.

WIL Canada runs from

4pm on Friday September 14
until 11 am on Friday Sep 21, 2018

WILs are fully immersive experiences – accepted participants are expected to attend the entire program from start to finish.

Program fee covers for the duration of the Lab:

  • meals
  • lodging
  • full training and training material
  • bus transportation for field tours and community visits
  • bus transport from Toronto airport and central train station to venue near Kingston, Ontario for those who require it. Pick-up at Kingston train station also available.

TRANSPORTATION

All accepted participants are responsible to get themselves to any of these location:

  • Toronto (Pearson International airport)
  • Union train station (central VIA rail station in Toronto)
  • Kingston train station or
  • Directly to venue at Queen’s Biology Station

For those arriving directly to venue, you will meet us at the venue prior to the 4pm start on Friday, September 14, 2018. Departure is at 11 am on Friday Sep 21, 2018. Please do not book departure flights before 4 pm. 

For international participants and those coming from outside region, Waterlution will arrange a schedule for airport shuttle to do pick-ups and transport you to venue.

Total CAN $1,000

(plus 13% HST)

For those who are employed or graduate students who can cover their costs or receive support from their employers/faculty.

REDUCED FEE

Total CAD $800

(plus 13% HST)

Those who don’t have the financial means to cover the full cost are receiving a partial scholarship through funding from partners. 

First, you must complete an application form and be accepted.

Special requests:

  • If you cannot afford the Reduced Fee option, please note this in your application in area provided and make mention of what amount you are able to contribute.  In May 2018, a few scholarships will be allocated based on strength of application, ability of applicant to contribute meaningfully to WIL Canada and on greatest need for funding support.
  • If you need a letter of acceptance for your employer or faculty, please email dona@waterlution.org and Waterlution can provide you with personalised letters to meet your needs.
Please note our refund policy:

Full refund minus 10% admin fee up to 45 days prior to event date
Refund minus 25% up to 30 days prior
Refund minus 50% up to 2 weeks prior
No Refund after 2 weeks’ mark from start date of event.
