“There are many aquatic invasives in the speed river such as ROUND GOBIES which are small soft bodied creatures that eat Molluscs, Crustaceans, Worms,Fish eggs, Zebra mussels, small fish and insect larva. Another aquatic invasive is SEA LAMPREY. Sea lamprey has an eel like body and have very large teeth. They feed on any other fishes blood using their suction cup moth then there teeth to suck the blood out of any other fish. My next and final aquatic invasive is ZEBRA MUSSELS. Zebra mussels are shaped like most mussles. They also filter and hog plankton. Those are just some of the invasives in the speed river but there are many more”.
