On today's Waterlution's 20 Year Holiday Countdown

On today's Waterlution's 20 Year Holiday Countdown of Memories, we remember the amazing youth advisors with beautifully creative ideas for children's books that we embarked in publishing. The first book, Canada's Great Water Adventure was the first, followed by Adventure with WaterSnake and Call of the River. All together 800 books were sold as well as 200+ donated to schools in southern Ontario.
Les formidables conseillers jeunesse ont eu des idées magnifiquement créatives pour les livres pour enfants et nous nous sommes lancés dans la publication de leurs ouvrages. Le premier livre, À la découverte des eaux canadiennes, a été le premier, suivi de Adventure with WaterSnake et L'Appel de l'eau. Au total, 800 livres ont été vendus et plus de 200 ont été donnés aux écoles du sud de l'Ontario.

Waterlution's 20 Year Holiday Countdown of Memorie

Waterlution's 20 Year Holiday Countdown of Memories continues with our YABs.
Starting in 2016, Waterlution began an annual cohort of volunteer youth advisors for our youth programs. Over the years they have varied in size from 18-40 members and works on the Great Waters Challenge to the Great Canoe Journey, Youth Water Speaks, A laRencontre du Fleuve and currently on Unity. These wonderful youth receive extensive training to then deliver the projects to school age youth in all corners of Northern Turtle Island. Across these projects more than 25,000 youth have been directly engaged in water, cultural, artists programming. Waterlution youth programming was originally led by Dona Geagea, who handed over the role to Olivia Allen who elevated the entire program over the next 5 years and made it what it is today.
À partir de 2016, Waterlution a lancé une cohorte annuelle de jeunes conseillers bénévoles pour nos programmes jeunesse. Au fil des années, leur taille a varié de 18 à 40 membres et ils travaillaient sur le Great Waters Challenge, le Great Canoe Journey, Youth Water Speaks, A la Rencontre du Fleuve et sur Unite. Ces merveilleux jeunes reçoivent une formation approfondie pour ensuite réaliser les projets auprès des jeunes d'âge scolaire dans tous les coins du nord de l'Île de la Tortue. Dans le cadre de ces projets, plus de 25 000 jeunes ont été directement impliqués dans des programmes aquatiques, culturels et artistiques. Le programme jeunesse de Waterlution était à l'origine dirigé par Dona Geagea, qui a cédé le rôle à Olivia Allen qui a élevé l'ensemble du programme au cours des 5 années suivantes et en a fait ce qu'il est aujourd'hui.

Continuing Waterlution's 20 Year Holiday Countdown of Memories... @donageagea had started leading on Water Innovation Labs by 2015 having developed Waterlution hub networks across various city in Canada. WIL Scotland was our first effort globally, and what a fantastic group of young leaders that came together from across Europe, from diverse global cultural and water backgrounds. Seems like yesterday and ages ago all wrapped up in one! This was the kick off, that we didn't know was coming, with so many global WILs on the horizon.

Waterlution's 20 Year Holiday Countdown of Memories of Years Past continues with memories of our workshops developing, and the incredible group of individuals, leaders and networks growing. Local hubs were established in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal and Future of Water workshops were continuing to take place between 2006-2009. Amazing individuals came forward to become Associates - all of whom continue to excel with exceptional careers today in water and related fields.
Au fur et à mesure que les ateliers de Waterlution se développaient, l'incroyable groupe d'individus, de dirigeants et de réseaux s'est également développé. Des "hubs" locaux ont été créés à Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto et Montréal et des ateliers sur l'avenir de l'eau se sont poursuivis entre 2006 et 2009. Des personnes extraordinaires se sont proposées pour devenir associés – et tous continuent aujourd’hui d’exceller dans des carrières exceptionnelles, dans le domaine de l’eau et dans des domaines connexes.
