Its the best thing flowing.
It touches everyone and everything. I just can't think of much else that is nearly as interesting, important, diverse or abused.
It calls to me"
From summer swims in the lake to skating across its frozen surface, Nathalie is a year round water enthusiast. Born on the Gaspé coast, brought up in the headwaters of the Credit, and now enjoying canoe trips on the Battle River in Camrose, Nathalie has memorable water experiences across this beautiful country. While completing the Environmental Technician and Ecosystem Management Technology diplomas at Sir Sandford Fleming College, Nathalie found her calling: environmental education. Passion for nature and education led her to work with EcoSpark, where she introduced Toronto teenagers to their local streams with Benthic Water Quality Monitoring ie. looking for water bugs. Currently, Nathalie is working with the Battle River Watershed Alliance as the Education and Outreach Coordinator. She aims to involve the local community in honouring and protecting the Battle River. Nathalie has been involved in the Waterlution community since her first workshop in 2009, and hopes her role as an associate will help educate and inspire people to enjoy and protect their local waterways.
