Welcome to the Future of Water Workshop Series. Please click on the map to see when and where a workshop will be taking place in your region.
As promotion for the 2006 and 2007 workshops was undertaken across Canada, the word has spread and many applicants have sent requests for the Waterlution workshops expanding into, and reflecting, different regions.
With this growing demand - coupled with the current climate for combining water-related programs, youth leadership and innovative thinking and technologies – Waterlution is faced with a timely opportunity to develop a Canada-wide program.
Waterlution will host 15 Future of Water Workshops in provinces and territories across Canada in 2008 (Nunavut will be explored in 2009).
All western and northern Future of Water workshops are co-hosted with Bob Sandford, Canadian Partnership Initiative, United Nations Water for Life Decade.
Once accepted to a Waterlution Future of Water workshop, a $40 fee will be charged. For the Fort McMurray workshop a $75 fee will be charged.
Aside from this fee, there is no cost to participants for accommodation, meals, field trips or travel (flights where applicable).
